I think I've been hacked :D

Not my TWC account, no. Something far worse. My gamertag.

See I'm looking to avoid all the "told you so comments" because I really do not care that it was hacked. But I figure I should prevent what I can. So this brings up another question which I have not had answered in, well ever, and in light of tighter security I figured I might as well ask here. How do you change the password/email to your windows live account or gamertag?

Well what did you expect? TWC, neither the staff or the membership has any control over your gamertag, or your Hotmail account, nor are we Microsoft's customer service department. Take your problems there.

Well contacting Xbox Support is a last ditch move, since it takes hours and hours and hours to do anything, IF your lucky. I was hoping there was something I missed when trying to find a solution to my problem that maybe someone else had found already that did not involve tech support.

Since you didn't detail any part of your problem, at all, other than 'How do you change the password/email to your windows live account or gamertag?' which, seems to have a rather obvious solution, I'm not sure what you want people to do.

This belongs in the Basement, too.

I suppose you are right, this does belong in the basement. But I'm afraid of the dark and naturally do not notice such places. And it really not such an obvious solution. As I mentioned, it is for the one tied to the gamertag. I cannot find it and I am almost positive it may be impossible except for some methods learned only through support and such. Since I do not want to go to them when someone else may already have, I asked.

I'll admit this is in the wrong forum. Everyone makes mistakes. But I would appreciate that you end the unnecessary hostility if you have nothing to add

In Windows live mail you click your name, then account in the drop-down menu from there.... it's pretty darn simple. Can't help you with the gamertagathingamaboberoo
