Thread: The Last Kingdom - Bug (Reports) & Technical problems & Support

I try to install it into the medieval 2 total war directory it stops at 9% then it says

"The Last Kingdom" has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

    File corrupt or unreadable:
    mods\Last_Kingdom\data\sounds\Music.dat

You will have to run this utility again to completely install "The last Kingdom".

At the install? (if so, try reinstalling with Administrator inplace, if your OS is Vista or 7)

Edit: How many times have you redownloaded it now?

You mean when a rebel army had 'Ridire Bodyguard' there is no info card for it?

I downloaded the exe file twice and the two DO files once why? By the way I dropped DO files in the Medieval 2 total war file is that what I was supposed to do.

Aha, thanks mate. I think the issue there is that a Saxon cultures army should not have a Celtic faction culture unit, despite being Rebel. Or atleast the family member definantly should not.

    Well spotted, thank you!

Okay, what I suggest is this delete anything you have to do with The Last Kingdom.
Make sure you have a clean and updated install of MedII and atleast one Kingdoms campaign.
Redownload all three files for tLk onto your desktop.
Load EXE/install. The path should go to your MedII folder, not Kingdoms.

I'm down loading the last part now and adding it to my desktop, after I put the three parts on the desk top, do I just drop them in to the medieval 2 total war file?

Just start ""Last_Kingdom_3.05.exe"" it should install the mod automatically...

I have noticed a problem with population growth in certain provinces. While playing as Denmark, I sacked the town of Ipswich leaving it with a population of 800. I made them a colony and lowered the tax rate, but despite saying the growth rate was +2% it remains at 800. I thought that perhaps this was simply to reflect that people might want to move into a newly conqured area, however, the nothern-most province on Jutland, which was mine from the begining, has remained at 1800 people since the start of the game, despite having built every available building with the exception of colony.
