k so I killed the faction leader and took the last town of hordaland as vestfold as well it is was the last town required for the unify the norway yet the only message i got next turn was factionn destroyed is there supposed to be something else that happens or did I do something wrong?

To unite Norway you have to fulfill the following requirements:
- Occupy the following cities: Niðáros, Selja, Akr, Skiringssalr
- .... and the kill of the leader of Hordaland/Vestfold faction.
Its important, that you have to occupy the needed settlements (and eliminated they Faction Leader) before you destroyed the other Norse faction.

Are you sure you followed this?

I can only guess you did somthing wrong, becouse Unification of Norway works fine for me mate.

the weird battle bug hasn't come up again and I've done a few more sofar really enjoying the campaign almost have Norway united got to say the vestfold starting is a little easy though maybe a reduction in starting units maybe good that or increase in rebel garrisons cause im pushing through the other Norway faction to easily and all i had to do was build 3 of my own units

EDIT: im playing on VH/VH btw

ive had the exact same with hordaland, none of them needs to bbecome stronger, maybe some AI money scripts would liven it up but unfortunately both of these only have 1 town where they can recruit units so it might not help either

I did all three steps in one move their last town was both one I needed for unification and it contained their faction leader so I was hoping when i took it that I would full fill the script before announcing the destruction of the hordaland faction oh well looks ill be restarting then I assume the unification gives some sort of bonus right?

You have done it wrong. You must aquire the said settlements BEFORE you defeat the faction.
I.e, you must take all the said settlments and leave them with one settlement than is not an objective, then defeat them.

"The Last Kingdom" has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

File corrupt or unreadable:
mods\Last_Kingdom\data\sounds\Music.dat

You will have to run this utility again to completely install "The last Kingdom".

Help please, I tried it again it says the same thing.

Try downloading again and installing with Admin settings (If you are Vista or 7).

If this doesn't work, I am unsure and you will have to wait untill Gigantus or somone more knowlagable with these sorts of things come on.

We (the development team) never came across this issue once during our testing, nor do I think the Beta testers ever came across it. It's odd now that several people seem to have gotten this issue.

Aha, yes! I forgot that . Make sure it's patched and you have at least one Kingdoms installed.

Beyond placing it in the wrong path, there is no possible way to install it wrong

You mean when a rebel army had 'Ridire Bodyguard' there is no info card for it?
