We - or more, DaNova - will be changing aspects of the Map, but I believe it'll be more focused on Britain and Ireland to begin with.

Danova - Sorry for the late reply. It turns out I was just being a bit stupid and was still using the original TLK D0.2 file I'd downloaded from your page (http://www.chrome.hu/danova/mod/download/lastkingdom/). Having replaced all three installation files with the ones downloaded from the alternative source at MegaUpload, the installation went smoothly and I'm now enjoying this excellently crafted mod. The attention to detail really is amazing, I can't praise you and your team high enough. Just so surprised this one had slipped under my radar for so long.
For those having problems with the installation process, make sure you re download all three files from this post, put them into a folder and run the installer. Make sure to run it 'As Administrator' as well.
@Casual Tactician,
I didn't think there is a 1.6 patch either. I just copied and pasted that from danova's post, so you'd have to ask him!
I'm thrilled y'all have finally released the beta! I'll give some feedback tomorrow.
What is this?...
I smell christian blood...
Thanks a lot for this great mod in one of my favorite timesettings.
Time to plunder and raze... pagan rage will roll^^.

May the earth be light upon you, lest the dogs can dig you out more easy.
Downloading today,tomorrow installing and playing...
Also, it is beta-testing or not ??
Yes, the current mod is version 3.05, and is still in beta stage from what I understand. If you run into any bugs, you can help the team by posting them here, though make sure to read the first post, as some bugs are already known.
Enjoy the mod, I certainly am.
I played for some hours now and it is very far in its progress.
The Models looks great, all the new buildings and the new traits, everything is made with love for detail, its a really good work.
And i really love the blood
May the earth be light upon you, lest the dogs can dig you out more easy.
In anticipation of this mod, I started reading Bernard Cornwell's novel "the Last Kingdom".
Awesome job all! Looks great! Sounds great! Can't wait to play it!
I even got out my copy of 'Braveheart' to play in the background.
Congratulations to the design team on a professional job well done!
So far so good! Playing as the Normans and found a "Eustache". Hehe my family name was Eustace, shame he was only a merchant...
+rep am i being blind or is there a feeback thread?
Ok i will test it in some minutes (installing right now)
Edit:When i finish instalation there was to icons:no1 is the Last Kingdom, the no2 is Pagan Norman and the Baptized Normans.Why there are 3 icons and no 1?
Edit2: Why we have to install the mod in C:\Program Files\Sega\Medieval II Total War and not in ..\Medieval II Total War/mods such as Third Age,Stainless Steel?

An awesome mod /clap
Belated gratz on the release @Team =)
I know I don't have enough posts to say this but........mad rep to the designers of this mod. Truly remarkable, many thanks.
Congrats for having moved to the released mod section. Always good to see the list growing.
Three icons - 'pagan Normans' is the one to start your game with the Normans as Pagans . 'baptized Normans' is the one to start your game with once the Normans convert. 'The last Kingdom' is the regular (normal) short cut. Information regarding the first two will be given inside the game.
Installation - the installer automatically searches the registry for your installation of M2TW and then will install correctly. There should be no need to change that directory.
@everybody
Weird color scheme in battle - I would appreciate to get a feed back after doing the following: rename the descr_geography_new file (or move it into another directory outside the game) in the mod's data folder and start a game.
I wonder if this pagan/ baptized thing couldn*t be solved with a script?
Hiya! Its working well for me and I love the mod!! I just wondered: what the is up with Scotland being such a pain in the ass, they are bankrupt but they spawn armies out of nowhere?! is that intended?
