In windows this crash could be caused if you unpacked the game and didn't remove the two geography files from the M2TW\data folder
Is there a new link to this mod? The torrent link is broken.

Would it kill the developer to include some installation instructions? I mean really? Just wasted 2 hours of my life on what otherwise looked like a very nice mod. No mention of where this download goes. I found a single item in the winzip folder which I clicked on and it told me to make a path myself which is always not particularly helpful... Some vague mention of 'mod' so I directed it to the kingdoms mod folder. Nothing appears in the folder except for a word pad file of meaningless text that doesn't help the issue. Now manually deleted all my Medieval 2 folders and verifying game file integrity trying to get rid of this thing so I can get the base game back for a new mod that works.
What isn't very helpful is your actual comment.
1. The original developer of "The Last Kingdom" is Danova - and he has long since left this forum.
2. You need to state which version of the mod you are attempting to play? My sub-mod isn't the same as the original mod for example.
3. You need to state wheter you are using Steam or not - not everyone is using Steam.

Hello, is there any submod for 4 turns per year?
You can find the basics here - it will require editing the script in Last Kingdoms.
why i cant change unit sizes in this mod without getting a crash to desktop?
just regular huge unit sizes like 250 infantry,80 cav, 130 archer, and such, i got the setting in huge unit sizes and still very small ,this only happens with this mod, i have all kinds of mods for m2tw i never got this problem before just for changing unit sizes in export desc unit
I have come across where preplaced armies (infantry body guards in descr_strat) have such a problem, but otherwise I would not know why it wouldn't work for you.
The max number you can set in the EDU value is 100, which then multiplies to 250 on 'huge' settings in the options. You may have made a formatting error somewhere - I would suggest to start again and then test it with one unit only to see what happens.
This mod was designed to be played on normal or small unit size settings. This was done to reflect the actual characteristics of military units during that time period. Battles rarely had more than a few hundred combatants on both sides. Battles with thousands were unheard of.

The House of Baltar
Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers
Just wanted to express my gratitude to the entire team that developed this mod and others who kept it alive for all this time. This mod is truly great, simple, with beautiful aesthetics and it was just such a pleasing experience to play it at any point of my life
Hello to all. A question: does the game need to be unpacked for the mod to work properly?
The only thing that unpacking may prevent is the block graphic glitch, but for that I made a small installer.
