strat map problem

hi, so my problem is fairly simple; when im on the strat map the name/income/unrest level/etc do not appear below my settlement unless i hover over it BUT my general names always appear. this means that the situation is reversed because originally a general's name must not appear unless i hover over him.

does anyone know a fix that does not include reinstalling the game? because that would take frigging hours to do.

Press the 'F1' key during your game. This will bring up the list of keyboard commands.
The labels can be toggled; the character labels with the Ctrl + N combination and the settlement labels with the Ctrl + T keys.
