So I was wondering if anyone practices Buddhism? I have been reading up and it interests me. I have adopted a few of the ideals and feel happier because of it. However I'm wondering how far it goes. Bushmen is a way to escape suffering right? I find that the greatest pleasures are associated with the biggest suffering. I was wondering how far removing suffering also removes pleasure.
Edit : I was thinking about how buddhism and will to power differ, mainly in that in a Buddhist society there are very few ways to exert power over other people. This goes against will to power and my own thoughts on how men behave socially (more of that later) so I googled Buddhism vs will to power and turns out neizchse (sp?) attacks the buddhist way of achieving release from suffering is by surrendering life. I think that's a much better way of saying what I was trying to.
And, as promised, my thoughs on male behaviour. I think we need to exercise our competitiveness and lust for excitement and danger that was evolutionaraly essential for survival.I think we need an outlet such as fighting bears, and in a Buddhist society I can't see any way of doing this
