I need some good history magazine recommendations. I already read "Military Heritage" which I enjoy for its military focus but I don't care for the American Civil war much. I also have copies of another, whose name I forget, but it looks at the history of random items such as soap or elevators or dowries. I was thinking of subscribing to "History Today". I guess I'm looking for something that focuses on more than just England and France but looks at lesser known regions and events as well. Any recs?

Medieval History Magazine was also a very good magazine, but unfortunately it ceased publication about a year ago, though I don't know whether it still continues in the US version. Otherwise I have read Living History (before it was merged with BBC History) and BBC History.

Thanks Rosacrux but another military magazine focusing on battles really is not what I'm looking for. Something from a wider point of view on wars and diplomacy would be nice.

I was getting "World War Two", but I didn't think it was very good.
