    Default Bluegrass

I'm trying to get into Bluegrass after hearing some awesome stuff. So, is there any good stuff. An important note is I'd prefer if it had a more classic sound to it. Thanks.

I've been learning to play the mandolin, it got me interested in bluegrass. Great stuff.

I'm hoping to take the mandolin once I'm half decent at the bass.

If you want some progressive stuff, just begin with Bela Fleck, he is one of the greatest banjo players. You would probably enjoy Robert Plant's latest solo album, called Band of Joy.

Yeah, I've been listening to Bela Fleck, and I'll give that Robert Plant album a try.

Bela Fleck's band has an insanely talented bassist. Though he is more jazz-funk than bluegrass.

He is Victor Wooten, he is one of the best bassists. Futureman (the guy that plays the drumitar-his own invention) is his brother. Bela plays something between jazz and bluegrass. He is a great instumentalist.

I like describing Bela Fleck and the Flecktones as being Fusion Bluegrass.

I saw Robert Plant at Merlefest this year, it was pretty good. I wouldn't really call it bluegrass though, more like folk.

Played a bunch of Zepplin songs but they were all folk style.
