    Okay what about his,
    Final Destination series.

    Set as an RPG open world and you have to uncover clue after clue to beat death whilst avoiding all that crazy shiz that happens in the movies.

    Spartacus, the TV series.

    I'm not talking a game where you just play as Spartacus hacking everyone to pieces after cut-scenes to fill in the story.

    I'm talking a game where you can manage a ludus as a lanista, buy gladiators, train them etc to get wins in the arena and bring honour to your house.

    It appears there is a movie being made by Red Eagle Entertainment (or some such) in partnership with Universal. So there you go.
