    Default Another Reinforcement debate

I used my own modified version of house rules adjusted to my play style. I recently began a new campaign on Roma Reserectum as a beta tester. However since i have always played SPQR house rules and SPQR i thought it appropriate to ask here.

In terms of polybian legions i have improsed myself a house rule where i can only recruit 1 legion per city, and they can only be retrained every 10 turns (5 years). Now using this logic, would it be cheating to give said legions reinforcements. For example my standard set up is 10 Cohorts 2 Calvary 1 general 2 Missile and 5 Triari.
So the reinforcement legion would be 5 cohorts 2 triari 1 missle 1 calvary. Would enforcing a rule where i can have reinforcement legions be defeating the point of putting rules down surrounding reinforcement legions.

If this thread does not belong here, then let me apologise in advance. Thanks

No it makes sense the Romans would send raw troops to replace lost ones as men retired or died.

And Post it on the RS2 forums nxt time.

Romans used to hire mercenaries as well. They used them a lot so you could refill your legions with mercenaries.
