I took off Medieval 2: Total War Gold, the windows uninstaller didn't work: here's what happened: we right clicked and clicked uninstall starting with the extra campaigns (Americas, Teutonic, Britannia, Crusades) than uninstalled Medieval 2: Total War, when uninstalling the games said "Not everything was uninstalled" and so he said it was okay, I deleted the desktop shortcuts, than my dad went into the game files and noticed everything was still there. So we tried the "Uninstall" in the M2TW and all that button did was take itself off and not the M2TW.
So my dad went into registry and deleted everything in the sega folder, but the sega wouldn't delete. So he just left it alone and we reinstalled M2TWGold and it reinstalled, but the saved games are still there. So now, every time I start a custom battle, historical, tutorial, battle in the campaign, the game crashes and there is an error message saying 'Unspecified Error, Medieval 2: Total War will now close' so the game didn't get off successfully.
I think it was the SCAM MOD that did this, battles all started crashing ever since I got the Custom Campaign 2 by Silent Knight.
Now because of him, game doesn't work and I deleted that mod before I started deleting Medieval 2: Total War.
Any help?
I have windows 7.
Game version 1.3 (Gold Edition).
I noticed other people have that problem but my dad went into the directory (he's a computer scientist, not a gaming scientist) and deleted all the files and folders in the Sega but when he tried to delete the Sega, it wouldn't let him, so he said "Weird" than restarted the computer.
Still crashes on battles!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELP!
