It must be the Battle of Nihriya then.
It must be the Battle of Nihriya then.
Correct! Good one, I didn't expect anyone to get it from purely the drawing haha

Well, it wasn't the drawing at all, there was the hint:
What I did was a quick search for states succeeding the Akkadians and found Sumerians and Assyrians, then searched for great battles involving them and the Hittites.
That's the point exactly, the hint was a must-have

Ohh I didn't see that hint, I skipped the end of page 391 I think. Yeah that hint is pretty important.

Battle of fishguard knows as the last invasion of British mainland.
Might seem like quite the generic first guess, but: Rorke's Drift?

The painting is literally on the wikipedia page so it's not really that bizarre of a guess

Oh, this is a historical event, not a battle. It depicts the notorious ''It will look way way better than this'' affair, which permanently traumatised an entire generation of Total War players. Rome II was criticized into smithereens, a relentless meme war was declared and the horse armour of Oblivion lost its prestigious place as the most despised DLC pack to the scorpion-throwing catapults. Frankly, the dramatic sack of Carthage in 146 B.C., to mention just a random example from Antiquity, is nothing compared to the tragedy of the 3rd of September in 2013.
Aye, it has made Total War history and the battle between the fans and Pontus will echo in eternity. Now where are those darn Seleucids at?
You're very correct

Drinking tea with the armored camels.
Next one comes straight from a melting pot of two distinct cultures (back then, it was pretty much one, unfortunately) and is an engagement, where Rudolf von Hapsburg indirectly played a major role. Its outcome determined the political regime of a city for centuries to come.
The Marchfeld perhaps? The epic war between the German Dukes, the Hungarian king and the Bohemian king.
Battle of Hausbergen I think.
