It's banner of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. It seems the Leper king carried into battle on a litter- battle of Montgisard.

Why was this battle historically significant?

I think it is Bach Dang? Those look like Vietnamese river boats fighting off the Yuan navy.

This looks like an Imperial Russian pre-dreadnought battleship, so I will go with Tsushima Straits.

That must be the flagship of the Ottoman fleet, Mansur el Liwa, burning, as a result of of the attack from a Greek fireship, led by Kanaris.

    ^correct of course.

Kanaris sank the Ottoman flagship using a fireship after the Massacre of Chios.

Most of the naval warfare in the Aegean during the Greek War of Independence showed that you can spread havoc among the ships of a Napoleonic-era fleet with a handful of disposable, old vessels filled with explosives and some guys insane enough to risk being blown to pieces, or drown, or both.
(greek "warships" were merchant vessels armed with some cannons following the rules of this treaty, so they wouldn't stand a chance in a fair fight against the Ottomans).
