So I used to have this Acer screen. It was not very expensive or anything (not cheap either) and after 3 years of use something that I have never encountered before, happened. Yellow pixels appeared at random locations on the screen and the display suddenly "froze". The cursor wouldn't move and it didn't seem to respond to any other input. I turned my PC off, and when I rebooted, the screen was filled with what seems to be stuck pixels. On a white background they appeared yellow and on a black one they were blue. The entire screen was filled with colums of stuck pixels! Fast forward to this day. A great LG screen which I recently bought has the exact same problem. What could be the cause of this? Graphics card? Power supply?
Edit: I forgot to add that the response time is a lot slowere, especially when scrolling.
