The Official TWC HFTP I Need Help Thread

I cannot for the life of me figure out why my sound has gone to complete doo doo. It is definitely an ARMA related issue since my PC can play music and video just fine. My sound is either very very low, or non-existent.

This is highly annoying. Anybody got any ideas?

Oh em gee, second. So I guess we're gonna need some sticky threads around here, one for helping people install all the mods we run and one for making sure people know how to join up with us?

I remember me mate having a similiar problem, although half a year ago...it had to do with a conflict between a newer DX version and the one OA needs...

SteamApps/common/arma2/DirectX
Find the application titled DXSETUP and run it as ADMINISTRATOR.

I'm somehow missing the jetdust bin file, so I cannot put any planes in any missions. Anyone else got this recently. Pretty sure I built that derp with the crap Taki jets a while ago and it was fine then.

Well maybe it will run, but I can't preview a mission.

Ideas?

That happens with the Nimitz Pugs. Or at least it did for me.

It would only happened every 3rd attempt at previewing my mission however.
