CTD when i play custom battle??

Well... I have been modding my RTW for a long time, but this is strange. I had been playing for a while, when i got bored and decide "hey, why not mod it again"? So i removed almost all units that i had added, changed a lot of stats and such. When i was about to play, it gave me an error. I fixed the problem. So it continued until all problems was gone (i have the -show_err). I was not finally about to play a custom battle, picked the greek_cities, against carthage, and started. The game didnt even start to load before it CTD. I tried again with the same results. I checked all units that i had picked, and they didnt seem to have any problems. Later on, i decide to play with some other factions, in case there was something wrong with ONLY the greek_cities and carthage. Tried with julii vs senate. CTD again.

What is wrong? I have changed animations to SigniferOnes, but i reinstalled the game (so i dont think im using wrong skeletons). I have also been changing skins a lot, however there dont seem to be any problems there either. I have also used a larger scaled map, but that doesnt affect custom battles, does it?

Oh, just to add, when i play campaign, it usually CTD after 3 minutes or so... havent had time to play a battle because it CTD so often.

The question: If anyone knows how to help me, what is wrong, plz tell me

well if u reinstall the game and try it without modding first and if it crashes take it bak were u got it if it dnt make a backup file b4 modding it again

Thx. I once again reinstalled, this time i checked it however. It seems like a lot of files where left. I deleted the files, and the game seems fine . Going to do as you said, backup files.
