Starting one to see if a plan I came up with will work. If it does I'll post it any bugs will be posted and I will find a way to survive and thrive as capua.

Will be on BI.exe M/M medium settings and Huge armies.
Aim is to survive for 30-40 years.

UPDATE: I have done pretty good but I just CTD during the Belgae turn. I amnaged to have a single strong army in Southern Italy and am currently building a new one. The army got silver chevrons on some of its units after only 2 years. Usually get around 2 stacks in my territory to attack. I got out of a minor rescession by taking Tarentum, Cannae, and Rhegion, was about to go take Crotona. I had one military disaster with a second army when I overextended it into Ariminum Territory and the Romans launched 3 stacks at it.

UPDATE 2: Ok something weird I reloaded the Campaign and watched the whole way thru the AI turnand it worked odd. On another not I have taken Crotona and have thus united southern italy. I am able to recruit Capuan cohorts in tarentum, rhegion, and cannae now and will soon be able to in calamatia. Do you want pictures of the traits earned and stuff? How long do you want me to test it for up until where you would normally get the Marian reforms for Rome and what is capuas recruitment list?

Capua still needs some trait work, and I just haven't had the time to work on it. I'm mainly concerned at this point with 'errorless' play....and a bit frustrated with this errorless CTD that is wandering around that wasn't there before. I have went thru the traits file with a fine tooth comb looking for duplicate triggers or nonsense conditions that might cause a crash...but I can't find anything wrong.

I'm willing to go thru the traits and look for messed up ones, it would also be pretty cool to have the ability to elect new senators. On that note to get an elected position in the senate like praefectus the character should need to be in Rome. The same with the tribune of plebe and other electable positions. So that the senatorial elections meant something in the early game.

That's not really pracitcal, given that Rome can only hold 20 guys at a time in-game... I think in 6 months, most guys could probably travel to Rome and back to their provinces, at least during the Republic... Also, as far as I'm aware it's possible for Equestrians to be adlected to the Senate, and become Plebeian Senators (i.e. non-Patricians).

well we can find 40 or so major electable positions in the senate and have them be a possibility to get depending on the influence say for max influence it would require to get the medix consul or something that you be x number of years old and have certain pre-reqs and gives your army that you lead a large morale bonus and a lower maintenance because you are able to have "volunteers" but only make it a one or two year thing not to long, etc.

might come up with more ideas later this purely speculation.

First it could be potentially just in the region itself not the actual city so you can have more people but there should be senatorial positions to get in all territorys with citzenship for gameplay. also should be done for capua.

I don't think you realize how complicated and accurate the Roman leadership is in this mod already. Further complication would be, I think, overkill.

Applying the Roman trait system to Capua is a problem, because their Senate, class system, and even the names for things were quite different. Also, they had no access to the Roman Senate or anything that would give them any voting rights or power. That, ultimately, was the reason for their revolt.

ok then the senatorial traits and stuff should be removed from the capuan campaign cause you can get your Family Members to get the Senator trait so i thought there were plans for something like that.
