The United Nations smears LEGO

Today is The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is celebrating the day with this vile poster portraying Denmark's most famous company as racist:

nice nice another and we pay them for that, well thought they were fighting racism, not starting it.

Well we all know lego is from denmark, so is UN paying back for mohammed cartoons?

UN nahh it should be named DN divided Nations by now.

Regardless, trying to humour your blatant (and not ever clever at that) trolling attempt: Do you realize the lego brick on the poster is the *excluded* part, ie the *victim* or racism?

well i am sure thats why UN quickly applogised and promised to removed the poster.

Besides maybe you should read the text of the poster before you so quickly make a fool off yourself.

"Rascim takes many shapes" and which part have the wrong shape? you can see that all the right shapes are united, while "the racist lego" have another shape.

it is only the naive who will see it like you do.

No he is not naive since this poster can be seen two ways.. the way he says and the one you post. But I agree that using a lego was a very wrong move.. but then again this might just be payback for us Danes protecting our freedom of speach.. or a simple human 'fatal' mistake!

Though I am 'sure' that this was just a misjugement by the guys behind the cartoon, but it still stinks alot of payback for the cartoons.. Either way we Danes are not going to burn random embassies down like others recently!

I wonder why a spokesman from UN just said sorry on danish TV and promised to remove the poster as quickly as possible.

This poster can be seen 2 ways, maybe more

I see it one way you see it another way.

I wonder how people see this then

Serious, we all must agree that, when the UN is making posters like these, with such a sensitive subject there is NO room for different interpretations..

So you call for rank hypocrisy? I take it you don't see the difference between a complete misinterpretation of a poster that was apologised for, and a cartoon that was not misinterpreted, nor apologised for, nor even withdrawn.
