Default My computer lags a lot (Processor problem)

    Hi guys,

My PC seems to not want to use its processor. It's CPU usage is always between 2 and 20 percent, even with games! I'm just wondering if this is normal. I was told I had a shockingly bad graphics card compared to the rest but that still doesn't seem to justify the lag I get sometimes. I heard about this bottlenecking thingy and I'm worried this might be the problem.

    Here are my specs :

The % used is split accross all 4 cores, so if you are maxing out a single core at best it will show 25% utalisation, it's fine ignore it. The GPU however is crap and is the bottleneck within your system.

So is my GPU is the one thing in need of upgrading run a game like TWS2 (for example) without lag? It's the sole reason for the bottlenecking?

EDIT : is there some sort of software that could help me? Thanks.

I would say so, you have a faster prcoessor (q6600) and more memory (4gb) than I do however I have a better card (5770) and have no trouble running shogun 2 on mid-high settings
