Question on Blood Traits

just something to confirm. i read through various old threads concerning marriage of princesses & heirs and its seems i can only aquire foreign blood traits if i marry one of my princess with a member of a foreign royal family. my heirs get only relations.
lets say my princess is of crusader blood and marries a genoese FM having genoese blood, then their sons and daughters have both blood traits. now if i were to marry those daughters with another offspring of mine having hungarian blood then i could merge all 3 bloodlines. make one of the descendant my heir and have the princesses of those 3 bloodlines marry into another royal house to get me a fourth blood trait?

it seems that this way would work as long as there is no limit to aquiring different bloodtraits. by killing of not needed family members, e.g. those that have neither a suitable wife nor the desired blood and not adopting anyone i could create a nice bloodline in a short time.

i'm sure others have tried this out already, and i wanna hear if it works

and is there a way to marry my heir to one of my other nobles daughters that holds mixed blood?

That's interesting question mate. I think you can but I'm not sure you can have that many mix royal blood.

so far i created mixed bloods of hungary & CS and genoese & CS. constantly weeding out my family tree to proceed with my breeding program

Dear,

Assuming that you only plays vanilla SS 6.4 without any modification whatsoever to the export_descr_character_traits.txt, you will not be able to have more than two "Of Royal Blood" traits in one family member. The one with two "Of Royal Blood" traits will yield offsprings with only one of the two Blood traits, which is the Blood trait from your own royal house. The rest of the Blood traits will become "Of royal relation" traits. I tried this before.

not sure if its due to all those widows i left behind but birthrate is currently at zero even with me, is there a way to kill wifes i no longer need?

im not sure but i think killing thier husban has an affect on them to a point where they commit suicide
and to get a higher chance of birth conquer more regions, if your the turtler type just conquer something small, eg. england, conquer that norwegian settlement not far from you or even chunks of france if you want it historically accurate

nope i usually don't turtle, i was peacefull for around 30 turns (after killing fatmids) trying out my breeding programm, but right now i'm expanding again. thing is i got only 10 generals but 25 regions, i had new kids born every turn during my earlier peacetime, but suddenly they stopped and i only get adoptions, that i decline. but no new births, preventing me from intermarriage.

something is weird with my family tree, so i decided to expand again, and eat the seljuks before mongols get too far into his lands and in order to claim more regions for more family members. but so far with little success.

one nice side effect i noticed is my princesses having loads of nice traits upon coming of age. even had "peoples princess", which i didn't know existed.
