Random CTDS when loading, or starting campaigns. 2.1A

After starting up RS2 i try to load a previous campaign, i get a generic CTD with no error report, just "Rome total war Alexander has stopped working" i then load the autosave which was made an hour previous to the save i was trying to load, same thing. I also tried to start a new campaign, i get the same thing yet again, im not sure what this can be as i did play this afternoon with no problems whatsoever. I saved and exited the game like normal.

Edit : this effects other factions too, when i try to start a new campaign with a different mod folder.

Ok i fixed it, if anyone else has this problem, there was 2 things i did, not sure which one it was (most likeley the latter) I 1. switched from compatability XP S3, to W7, and restarted the computer. Loads fine now.
