Egypt, I hate not having enemies on almost all borders and not a huge fan of Egypt throughout history. More of a Western Europe type I suppose.

Hungary because it bores me. If I want HA spam I'll use the Byzzies, if I want Knights I'll use France/HRE, if I want Assassins I'll use the Turks.

@Danny The Turkish roster is defined by Light Infantry, Javelinmen, Foot and Horse Archers, Light Cavalry, and later in the game, Heavy Cavalry, Halberdiers, Spearmen, Naffatuns(Grenade-throwers), Archers who double as Swordsmen(Ottoman Infantry), and long-range Musketeers.

I thought I was the outsider, but I see I'm with the largest #: HRE. I don't like their starting position, the name (which is false), or pretty much anything else about them. They ALWAYS attack me and I'm starting to get annoyed with them, so I refuse to play as the HRE.

I've played with every single faction more than twice (Hey, I skipped school for about 3 years, I had some time to spare ) and I have played every faction more than three times aside for the Moors.

The Moors are the single and only faction I will never play again. They accumulate all that I hate and put it into one big mold. Playing with the Moors makes me feel like holding a toy gun when facing a tank, their gameplay frustrates me (As does their combat gameplay) and I simply cannot play with them. I've tried adapting, but I guess I'm just the massive-kill-them-with-trampling-horses kind of guy... And the Moors only have those camel riders.

Basically, that's just me ranting, as for my real reasoning:

The Moors have a very very specific style of play to them, they have a little bit of the Turks, a little bit of the Egyptians, a little bit of the Spaniards and a little bit of their own, making them a very unique faction, a faction I've tried playing as before and have utterly failed in adapting to their style of play.

Don't get me wrong, I won battles with them, but I hated the battles. They required me to focus on things I do not like to focus (I dislike armies who rely on cavalry archers and have such poor infantry), their army structure is too 'militia' for me. Call it a pet peeve but I hate militia armies, I love my armies to be heavily armored, professional and shiny.

As for the final blow, they're Muslims. I dislike the Muslims when it comes to M2TW, their style of play simply doesn't suit me. I love the massive European, with the heavy armor and reliance on heavy infantry and heavy cavalry, and I dislike the quick Muslims who rely on mobility rather than longevity... It requires a completely different style of play than that which I like. Don't get me wrong, I love fighting the Muslims and I like playing as the Fatimids (Egypt), fighting against them because it's ever so challenging, and I like playing as the Fatimids (Egypt) because they combine both European style of play and Muslim style of play, so this way I can keep playing the way I like with some added bonuses on the sidelines.

So, bottom line: Moors. The faction I like to kill the most. The faction I like to play the least. Usually among the first five to fall in my campaign, regardless of who I am. (I once invaded the Moors when I was Russia, it was pretty funny.)

They are the hardest of all European factions, and I'd much rather play with the hardest faction than the easiest. The Moors are amongst the easiest factions to play and win as, being as secluded as they are and rarely a Crusading target.

Tell me you aren't serious... I must say I haven't played HRE yet, but (as you mentioned) it has a fine roster and and early alliance with France and some other neighbors should make the rest a cakewalk - you do start with a lot of land and some great castles.

While playing backstabby and angry HRE should be a challenge, in no way a HRE campaign must be painful if you make friends.

In vanilla, Aztecs - they are not playable, and not good enough for me to make them playable.
But any other faction I wouldn´t mind too much conquering the world with

Portugal is also pretty boring at start, but in the late game they are awesome.

Probably Portugal or Spain , are the two most boring factions for me to play as.

Mainly, its because I find them to be Late Game factions, and I'm playing Darth Mod with a 1 year per turn timescale -- so getting to gunpowder / citadels etc takes a very very long time. (mod originally with .5 year per turn, and all buildings take longer and cost far far more to construct so citadels are.. 20 turns wait with 20,000 florin cost)

With Spain it's the yellow - just not a fan of that.

With Portugal, its the lack of a balanced army - until late in the game when you get Portugese arquebusiers / aventuro pikemen. I feel like until that point, Portugal has a lacklustre unit roster.

I like playing as the Italians, the Northern Europeans, Eastern, or Muslim. with Italian / Muslim being my favourites.

therefore my least fave factions would be .. Spain, Portugal, France, HRE.

Milan, I hate their colors almost as much as the hungarians I love to kill them simply because theye backstab me everysingle campaign and i find it enjoyable to kill traitors. They are basicly an exact copy of venice only their elite units come from cities instead of forts. And I find venice more enjoyable to play Since they get those awsome venitian heavy inf, muskets, and morters late game (but i usualy mod so gunpowder comes in the 1st 5 turns) .

Sickly Pink is not nice to look at for the 50+ish hours of a campaign.
They try and imitate other factions rosters but only weakly(only uniquish strong unit being the melee jav cav that always annoy when attacking them in the feild)
