Stainless Steel Help

Hello, I'm a longtime Medieval II player but a newbie when it comes to mod installation. I only recently began installing mods, and so far I've only been using ModDb as my download site. I recently however have taken interest in the Stainless Steel mod for Medieval II, and I think I'm gonna need some help installing it.

I'm using the Steam edition of Medieval II and Medieval II Kingdoms, and I was wondering where I need to save and or run the downloads for Stainless Steel. Should I put it in the the Steamapps folder or in the Medieval II mods folder? By the way, I'm downloading with Megaupload (I'm a premium user so I don't have to wait).

Any help from other Medieval II players who have been able to download this mod on to a Steam edition of the game would be very appreciated. Thanks
