    Default economy

    i m playing roman empire in DLV but i got a really bad economy (depression) that lasts for a long while (15 years) at one time i made 21000 in Constantinople and then last i only made like 5 or 6000 per turn is there anyway to get my economy back up again i m a-bit short at the moment and try not to tax the nobility

    Depression/recession probably happens if your profits (see economic overview- the cauldron filled with gold coins- for that) decrease every turn, and possibly when you keep spending and spending all money you have every time. Try restricting your construction and recruiting to the Profits you make, and if possible, a little less than that.

    i tried to save like lots of money but there are still economic fluctuations i guess its more of a chance than your budget if your empire is larger then your economy can be more fragile (i got like egypt , syria, jerusalem, antioch, asia minor, balkans, south of italy the "roman" (eventhough the people are greek) empire is at its strongest state in 600 years since Justinian)
