Game won't open?

I am having trouble opening the game, I noticed I have to click everything in the mod file (except for unit table) to open the game.
Why does that keep happening?
And also, why can't I do sieges in custom battles? Every time I try to do a siege battle, the game just crashes when I click "Continue" or something like continue (the roster screen). Is that a bug?
Are those 2 things bugs?

What do you mean by "click everything in the mod file"? You only need to run Third Age.bat or the shortcut.
