Should I Download Stainless Steel?

Medieval 2 Total War is my favorite game in the Total War Series. I'm just wondering if I should download Stainless Steel. Please post your opinions, thank you. I will be able to play the original game right?

u do realize you posted in the stainless steel forum...but the simple answers are:
yes, even if you don't end up liking it, its worth a shot if you've coming looking, but if you like regular medII this is just a prettier, smoother, bigger version in the most basic sense.

Other than the depressing and annoying waiting turns for first timers like you, or at least your first mod, SS offers much better feel of the medieval game play. I'm not exaggerating, because the contents and features are literally better than the original. Only the waiting turns are the cons of this mod, in all mod.

do not download this mod, only if u want the greatest gaming experience in your m2tw time with tons of custom options.
seriously we wouldn't all play this if we didn't love it. theres a great community, always there to help with troubleshooting and working 24/7 to improve this mod. they don't sleep they don't eat all for the sake of creating the best mod out there. no way you can miss out on this can you?

at least a minute, for some people. 10 seconds is nothing.

a very simple answer to that would be a resounding YES.

there is no other Medieval battle sim around on the market that comes close to this cracker even after 8 years!

Stainless Steel's team have proven their quality over the years, this is why I will always download the latest version without hesitation when they release it.

Basic SS is pretty good but a big advantage it the wealth of submods available to customize your style of play.
