PS3 HDD problem.
So i bought a new Seagate momntus 5400.6 250 gb for my Ps3. I took out the old but the new in and started my PS3 and got "Cannot Start. The correct hard disk was not found" Now the hard drive is definetly conpatible and ive looked it up and saw a range of answers like having to format it. Pins are too short, can anyone give me an. answer?

PS3 Hard Drives are formatted to FAT32 (an annoying file system that only allows files smaller than 4GB (though how my >4GB Play TV recordings work on the PS3, God knows)).
Anyway, is your HDD this format?

It doesnt matter now because quite literally broken there is a crush on the top right corner, getting a refund from amazon anyway.
