    The Westeros: Total War team are in urgent need of an experienced and hard-working coder who's tasks will include:

    - Collecting other artists' work and integrating it into the mod.
    - Uploading new versions of the mod for the developers.

    An ideal candidate should have knowledge of most areas of coding, or be able and willing to learn about areas he/she does not. The main bulk of the work will include things like adding and organising other artists' skins, models, maps etc and coding them into the EDU, modeldb etc.

    This job is a lot of work but is essential to the progress of the mod. Please do not apply if you do not see yourself able to stay with the project for an extended period of time.

    I feel like pointing out that we need someone reliable with some spare time; Implementing all that stuff can be tiresome.

    I just heard about this project today, but I'd be interested in helping out. I am unfamiliar with the Total War modding tools and scripting language, but I work as a game programmer professionally so I imagine I can pick it up pretty quickly.

    I'm going to keep looking around at everything, but if there are first steps to take to get myself up to speed with the project, let me know and I'll be happy to begin.

    Hey mate,

    Yeah, the scripting language for M:TW is pretty basic, to the point where even I can understand a little of it! If you head over to the Mod Workshop section of the M:TW forums there's a LOT of advice/information there to help you start off.

    It's also important to find the organiser thingy by Knight Errant (I think?), which makes the script files much easier to edit.

    i've made this tutorial about hero_abilties and included instructions and the two basic files for also customising all battle-ui round buttons
    (like skirmish ,rally ,fire at will etc)

    if any of the good people that follow this mod ,wants to dive into it and make some abilities ,here it is! unfortunately i don't have much time anymore...

    all you need is
    -a loremaster to come up with titles ,tooltips and help with the concepts
    -someone to do the abilities/editing part
    -and someone that will make round buttons (a 2d guy)

    if someone is up to it all then even better...as he'll have a more compact "vision"

    all you may need is in there ...have fun

    I dont have a lot of time as I have so much going on, but I still have special place in my heart for this mod. Coding you can get someone else to handle, but if there is a specific script or script idea you guys have in mind then I will definitely consult. I may not have time to write an entire script, but I will get someone pointed in the right direction.

    I would like to help. I have dabbled a bit in EDU, EDB, modeldb, and descr_strat. I mean I have added/edited units to other factions and stuff, but I may need to be taught as much as I'd help. More like guided I suppose.

    This is actually something we might need; At the moment one of the things we have to do is to add several of the stuff we have done into the mod.
