What Version do I have?

First off a huge hello to you all! My name is Vlad (obviously lol) and Ive been playing M2 total war for the last year or so. Also Ive lurked around these forums for a long time and loved the discussions here so I thought about joining. Anyways this might be a NOOB question but how do I know what version of M2 total war do I have. I bought the game from amazon about a year ago but never installed any patches or mods. Does this mean I have all the bugs that came with the very original game or what? If so then I can install the patches ASAP but before doing that I needed to know. Thanks in advance..

I'm not too familiar with that game but I know in Rome you go to options from the main menu and it would say up in the corner. You could try it on Medieval 2

Load up your game, go to the option panel and in the top right hand corner it will say 1.0 or 1.2, or 1.3 for Vanilla Med 2.

It it's 1.0, install the 1.2 patch and then the 1.3 patch. (If you want to install patches, go here)
