This happened after my monitor switched off, after downloading and playing Batman Dark Asylum for the first time. CtrlAltDel etc didn't work, so I switched the PC off, and each time when starting up the monitor shuts down when starting normal windows modus. Secure modus functions.

Same thing happened a while back when benchmark testing GTA4. I reinstalled windows completely to get my PC going again.

This time though after coming home from work I tried my luck and it functioned as normal. Then my internet-connection broke down, and on my system it will only dial up again after reset. So I did, and the same problem occurred. Then I went out and did other stuff, came home and switched on my PC. Now it worked again, only that the resolution is ultimate with everything very small.

I put resolution back to normal and deleted Batman Dark Asylum. Hope this works, but has anyone maybe a better idea on what causes this and how to solve this?
