Default New Graphics Card for M2TW !

Hello, I am looking for a new graphics card for M2TW for my Windows XP pc. I can run Rome: Total War with unit scale on high alright, and the only problem I have with M2TW is something about a scale pixel shader 1.1 or something, I can't run the game. I had this card in mind:

    Here is my DxDiag:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
    System Model: Dimension 3000
BIOS: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A02
    Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 3.06GHz
    Memory: 1022MB RAM
    DirectX Version: DirectX 9,0c (4.09.0000.0904)

    Please help !

If you don't even have a card with pixel shader technology then you are going to need a new computer altogether mate, that's 2005 technology.

from the looks its a single core celeron, with 1gig system ram,

    that PC is utterly ancient

that Celeron dosent even support 64bit operating systems
your better off saving up and buying a new PC, litterally any money spent upgrading this one is pissing money down the drain,

    essentially

your CPU is Celeron D 347 Cedar Mill chip at 3.06ghz
    it doesnt support 64bit
its a gimped Pentium 4 chip

the above to points basically mean this thing is worthless in terms of performance. any gpu you stick with that pc above will be bottlenecked

not to mention the new AMD APUs aka A8 3850 is a quadcore chip for $140 that has a GPU thats nearly 3x the performance of the card your looking at, basically again any money spent upgrading that old pc would be a complete waste, either build a new pc or buy one, but dont piss money away,

and a 4350 is so weak typical IGPs on todays CPUs are on par or faster then it sigh its the way of the world tech gets outdated fast but that cpu was out dated before Intel even started manufacturing it.

Haha, alright thank alot mate ! I kinds thought I'd have to build a new PC but it won't be happening untill christmas and I really wanted to play the TATW mod for M2TW :\ but ah well... I thought though, seeing as I could run Rome: Total War perfectly fine, that I could run M2TW on extremely low settings? I can't see anything big in difference with the graphics and stuff of the two games so I can't understand what this pixel shading 1.1 thing is.

pixel shaders are used on all gpus im guessing you have an Intel Integrated piece of on the motherboard its the only reason you cant play it

ancient gpus as far back as the Geforce 3 series had Pixel Shader 1.1 and they were released in 2001-2002 ish granted dosent mean they will run M2TW but what it does mean is that your running an IGP from Intel, intels graphics division is a joke, always has been always will be, granted yes putting a gpu in your system would let you play the game

but buy a 4350 which is weak and i mean REALLY WEAK, just to play 1 game isnt a good idea, save the cash use it for a better pc you can build yourself so you dont end up in this situation again.
