Having a look at this faction and wondering what I should do,
what are your moves for the first 10 turns?

March south and take greece, your starting units should be enough then retrain before taking out the Indi-greeks on the western shores.
"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"
Basically what Martin said. Taking out the IGCS is your first priority. Then take out the nearby IGCS, most importantly take out Pyrrhus's army and then Byzantium. You can do this with your starting units and some mercenaries. And it may also be a good idea to take out the two celtic cities and the province of Thrace. These cities usually bring in good money and will help prevent the Thracians from becoming too strong. After this, you can basically go in any direction you want.
If your lucky you can kill the Greeks off in less than 10 moves.

If you dont want to go east then take Byzantium and use it to hold the Seleucids at bay as you march west or north. You could even go mad snd sail to Egypt.

You rang?
It's really not that bad a move if you've got enough money from Greece and you're already on good terms with Egypt. Just start off with Cyrene; you're already at war with the Indy Greeks and it will require a minimum of cultural restructuring. I sat there building an army and making money while the Ptolemics just threw themselves at the Seleucids then swept in and took their major cities.
Interesting replies, guess it's going to be a case of crossing fingers and hoping the IGCS/Celts/Thracians don't attack whilst you steamroller GCS.
Well still enjoying my Carthage campaign at the moment so it might be a bit before I get round to Macedon, did a quick custom battle with Macedon earlier and found out the Agema Hypastists can do shield wall, awesome!
I annihalated the celts first in a couple of incredibly tough defensive battles. Then I retrained the army and went down to southern Greece.
Keep in mind that the plague will hit 5 of your cities (assuming you unify Greece that is) a short time after the plague in Illyria ends, so keep your faction members out of the main cities for that period of time (I personally lost my excellent faction leader and two other family members to that plague!).
