Norway and its cities
After installing SS for the first time, my viking instincts told me to pick the Kingdom of Norway. And as the loading-screen fades away I am shocked! Bergen, Oslo and .... Eikundarsund? Now .. I live in Eikundarsund (Egersund/Eigersund as it is called today), and it makes me wonder... Stavanger is and has always been a larger city/town than Eikundarsund, and is also the most "famous" of the two. How did whoever decided to put Eikundarsund there stumble upon the name? Does the city have some international reputation that I am not aware of?
I did a couple of google searches, and only found one thread on the forums about SS and Eikundarsund, but i can't read it because i get an error when i try to open it. Can anyone please enlighten me? :p
I am familiar with the history of the city, i do know it was a superb natural harbor for fishing and trading, but again .. Stavanger is bigger, and the city is even located where Stavanger is on the campaign map.
;-)
