I installed RTW preparing to install the RS 2 mod. Maybe you all have a quick solution to this. I have the original RTW cd's. I bought them in 2004 and I have Daemon Tools installed because I have over a thousand images of various things which is why I use that program. This is what I get when I load RTW. Anyway around it without uninstalling Daemon Tools?

You're starting the game with the cd in the computer?

Is your disc scratched?
If not, you might to update your drive driver, maybe it will help.

Oh no the CD is not scratched. It looks like I have to uninstall Daemon Tools Pro

I think I had the lite version once, and never had any problem.
But maybe the pro is different

Well I uninstalled the Daemon tools pro and Im still getting the error. I need to figure this out before I can play RS II.

Any suggestions?

I've cleaned out the registry, deleted all the folders that daemon tools had. I don't know what else I can delete. A rootkit or something must be there that I am not seeing.
