I'm making new banners, symbols, unit cards and loading screens for DarthMod.

Loading Screens:

Today I have finished the faction banners:

Ok, this are the updated Germania and Ibera banners:

Note: Parts of this banners are not my work entirely but where copy/pasted.

Please tell me if you like them, which one you like most and which one least and what I could make better!

The one I like most is Parthia's, the one I like least is Iberia's, I'm working on it...

Edit: Here you'll find symbols and here unit cards I made for Lusted's TE, so you can imagine how the ones for DarthMod are going to look like...

DarthMod v7 - Add-On
Ok, here it is, the first release: DOWNLOAD LINK REMOVED BECAUSE OF PERMISSION PROBLEMS

It includes:
- New faction symbols for all factions (menu, loading screen and in-game)
- New banners for all factions
- New campaign map banners for nearly all factions.

The final version will also include:

- New unit cards for all units
- New loading screens

It is made for DarthMod 7.0 and above, but should work with other versions and mods too.

Excellent work man, I like them very much. I am doing the same job to FMIR project..what program do you use?? photoshop or corel draw??

I assuem some of this work from RTR and SPQR, am I right??

Anyway, the only banner that didn't like it is Decian one :wink: . But the overall work is amazing :original: .

I use Photoshop CS2... Funny, the dacian one is the only one I didn't change at all...
Yes some of this work is from RTR, I don't know exactly who made some of the other symbols I used...

Edit: Oh, and to all Greeks or historians on this forum: You may have noticed I used "lambda", the symbol of Sparta as symbol for the Greek Cities, maybe you now a symbol that represents the Greek Cities better?

I don't think that there is one symbol for all the greeks. Greeks weren't one nation though. Every city state had its own symbol. Look at the ones had been done in Hegominia mod over the modification mods of BI and you will find they did great job and created a symbole for every city state presented in thier mod.

About the Decian symbol, I didn't see any of your work until now..so it is the first time to see it

I think the athenian symbol would be an alternative to the spartan one - the Hegemonia mode uses it and it is associated with Athina as well:

The Master speaks the truth - the new buttons are looking very alike in smal size - I think removing the shading around the borders in small size might improve this a lot.

I've been waiting very long for this. It will make Darths Mod a "round" huge community project mod and increase enjoyability a lot, as it will be easily distinguished from vanilla on first look now.

Edit: After hating horse armies Parthia strangely enough has become my favourite faction,so i agree that flag is a great improvement.

hey kaweh can you do my a favor big time?

can you make me a banner for germania? i would like the thorhammer (MJÖLNIR) as a faction symbol and the banner color can stay the same or a different one, whatever u think looks ok. rebelunits...in bi or rtw vanilla use these banners already. so maybe you can use them as a template and just use different colors. i dont know how that works at all

@Ahlerich: Sure, I can do that! I think it'll really look better than the actuall one, thank's for the suggestion.
And yes, the dark side of the force is definetly strong in me... I always knew it, now I'm starting to use it... With Darth Vader as mentor, I'll develop my skills and the force will free us the way to ultimate victory

Ja, ich arbeite schon dran, aber ich möcht die anderen Banner und Symbole auch ein wenig verbessern (besonders Iberien) und dann alles aktualisieren. Ich denke das werd ich heute schaffen, und dann fang ich mit den Einheitenkarten an. Ich denke nächste Woche (so gegen Freitag) bin ich dann fertig...

Well, chances were 50:50 that I could have been a complete idiot (no, wait, to be honest: 99:01)... However, we're making good progress with the sickmen mod and I guess it'll really be something unique...

And yes, the dark side of the force has me, it'll never let me go...
