Conquistadores and Dismounted Conquistadores

I am using Spain in the regular campaign, NOT the New World. How do i acquire mounted and dismounted Conquistadors? plz help

You can't recruit them in Spain without modifying the game.

You have to conquer one of the new world settlements if you don't mod things.

To mod it so they are recruitable everywhere, put the io file switch into your prefs file(look in the mod workshop for detailed instructions), open the Export_descr_buildings and search conquistadors. remove the hidden resource america part(make a copy first in case it dosen't work), save, play. Problem will be you can recruit conquistadores from any level of city, right from the start of the game, so seriously unbalanced.

Thank you both! crzyrndm, can i only recruit them from the new world?? because i have captured an a new world settlement and cant recruit them from the homeland...
