    Default Byzantine gunpowder?

I noticed that byzantines have gunpowder units in custom battles, but do they also get them in campaign?? What about cannons??

Also, i'm using real recruitment mod, is there a way to change how often i get available companies?

As far as i know they do get gunpowder units however i don't know if they are up to par with European and some muslims factions later in the campaign. If you want to change recruitment pools, i think you have to edit the EDB. Try here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=221100

Hopefully that'll help. Also on the SS setup you could try disabling real recruitment however i'm not sure how stable it is, some people say it's game breaking, never tried it myself.

The option to disable RR in 6.4 isn't game breaking or unstable.

By game breaking some people do not like the changes in recruitment. It is not bugged just some people prefer to play more like vanilla.

Alright but for me game breaking refers to severe bugs that cripple your ability to play at all. The recruitment system is one of the easier things to adapt mid-campaign even if you already started a game with an older edb/edu system.
