change name of city

sorry guys, i really used the search option but couldnot find it.

how can i change the name of a city, so that it is shown on the map and also, when i am in tne city menu and everywhere?

Edit.: one more question: when i am in an alliancewith someone, should i still make an agreement give and demand military access to be able to move my troops into my allies terrain, without him being pissed off?

and basically, i noticed you can move your armies anyway anywhere you want, even without military access granted, so what happens if i move my army trough a country, which has not granted me access?

If you own the city, just duble-click on it and then click on it's name above, backspace and type in what you want.

u kind of answered your own question, u move through enemy land without military access and the country gets pissed off until relations get abysmal. this happens damn fast so if u really want to pass through an allies territory better ask him for access or u might find a dagger at your throat in return.
bad relations = likely to attack you

one more question: in Visby, as teutonic order, do i have full recruitment possibilites (if i change it from town to castle) or does the AOR makes the limit here?

Actually i think and nomad faction like teutonic order should be able to recuit everywhere, as someone else posted in other thread, he moved with his whole Teutonic order to byzanz as capital to fight the turks

It depends. You can not recruit Prussian Cavalry and Axemen, because they are only recruitable in Prussia. Others you can.

and what about holy roman empire? i want to change my capital to another city, but only to which it has full recruitment, which german cities are full home cities?

thank you again, i am not trolling at all, believe, i hated vanilla MTW2 , but because of SS developed so great (since i played it 2-3 years ago last time) i bought the game again .
