Default Crash while loading campaign (resolved by reinstalling Rome:tw and EB)

Fresh install of Rome:TW, patched to 1.5,running EB 1.2 with the hotfixes.

I get a crash with all factions when I try to start a campaign game. Reinstalling EB does not fix this issue.
    I get this error message:

    Generic Error:

    Failed to find texture 'data/terrain/aerial_map/indicators/region_borders_main_color.tga'.

I also couldn't find a folder and file [indicators/region_borders_main_color.tga] with this name in unpacked vanilla Rome:TW files, nor BI files. What does this file do that it causes an unavoidable crash? What can I do to prevent this?

Please run validateInstall.bat and post the results here. If you have problems with the validation tool: Installation validation
    Any minmods?

    No minimods.

I ran the installation validation, It has tons of stuff non related to EB- post the whole thing anyway?

On another note, I just realized I cannot even get vanilla rtw to work properly, so I think that is the source of my problem! Looks like I've got quite a lot of reinstalling to do.

In that case, you'll have to reinstall everything.

Yeah, just finished doing that and it fixed my problem.

My problem was because I installed another mod that I did not realize wasn't modfoldered, so when I ran its uninstaller, it wiped out a bunch of core stuff from the main folder.

Please put this thread into the trash can.
