I saw the foo fighters last night supported by biffy clyro, jimmy eat world, and the hot rats.
This has made me think why don't we have thread where people talk about live music. [please excuse me if there is]

There have been several. And that show hardly seems reviewing, with Biffy and Foo Fighters you know it was amazing.
Bitter is the wind tonight,
it stirs up the white-waved sea.
I do not fear the coursing of the Irish sea
by the fierce warriors of Lothlind.
I didnt start an entire thread just to say thiswith Biffy and Foo Fighters you know it was amazing.![]()

So you went on Sunday? Did that mean you got to see John Paul Jones and Seasick Steve as guests? I was there on Saturday when they had Alice Cooper and Roger Taylor and the whole thing was one of the greatest things i have ever seen. I didn't particularly like the venue (MK bowl) though - if it had of been Wembley or sume such stadium i wouldn't have had to inhale big clouds of death smoke from the millions of smokers that were there, but at least the music completely pushed that inconvenience out of my mind with its sheer awesomeness.
Yeah i'm pissed i didn't get alice cooper, but seasick steve is a legend. What i didn't like was the fact that i was with 64 999 other people [discounting my mates], I usually go to gigs where theres a max of 2-3000 ie sheperds bush empire demontfort hall. I know i would never have got tickets and biffy and foo's will never pay like that agian but surely you know what i mean?So you went on Sunday? Colchester Arts Centre is my favourite venue. They have great acts like Cannibal Corpse, Vader, Bring Me the Horizon and 36 Crazyfists, but the capacity is like 300 or 600.

Get out right now, or go find a new singer for this band and come back to me.Bring Me the Horizon
