PARIS (Reuters) - Tristan Banon, a French 32-year-old alleged victim of an attempted rape on the part of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, will file a complaint Tuesday against former IMF Managing Director, his lawyer said Monday.
"Tristan Banon will file a complaint Tuesday before the public prosecutor of Paris for attempted rape," said David Koubbi Reuters, speaking of facts "extremely serious".
Attempted rape is punishable by the criminal court and the maximum penalty is 15 years imprisonment. The penalty may be higher in case of aggravating circumstances.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn was immediately attacked by loading against-his lawyers to sue for false accusation, said one of his defenders, Mr. Henri Leclerc.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn "was read for Mrs. Tristane Banon to file a complaint against him, or the fact that it evokes are imaginary," the statement said.
For his part, David Koubbi said that his client, a journalist and writer who claims that the facts alleged occurred during a meeting with Dominique Strauss-Kahn as part of writing a book, had made his decision to complaint "there are a couple of weeks."

Asked if he had given evidence of the antiquity of the facts, the lawyer said, has "an extremely strong and supported."
