    Default Late general bodyguards - bugged textures?

    Europian late general bodyguards have no faces..some coloured heraldic ornaments instead shields only black and white with strange pictures..some knights are transparant almost as glass...horses and general are ok, all other late knight units is perfect as it should be.
    anyone can spare a solution? kinda hard to love recruited general with such ugly boyfriends

    Strange one indead. We need to know your faction, mod version... basicly everything you can think of really. See Before posting: How to report a bug or technical problem

    Also it is likely that a reinstall will fix this issue provided you make sure that UAC is off and you are running everything with adminstrative rights. If you already did so it still won't hurt

    Im playing 6.4, MSC, Savage, Long live and prosper, Next faction heir, permanent arrows and towes, istambul, France, early era, now is ~ 1125 year.
    Recruited first general from large town and vuala tried all europian factions in customer battles - all the same. Looks like coloured model skin was shuffled

    Iirc msc changes the models around so there might be an issue. Best search the MSC bug report topic and the MSC release topic to see if this was encountered before, I regretably can't do that for you (on my mobile right now).

    Hello.
    I have this problem that late general bodyguard textures arent working, same thing that vilhem has. I havent found any solutions for this, so i deciced to ask.

    I am having the same problem, in which all NE Late Bodyguard look wierd, whereas SE Late Bodyguard are normal - the same with all other Late Bodyguard units. I found Meneth's post confirming that MSC do not alter any mesh or texture, so that's probably not where the solution could be found.

    Could someone looks into this, please? I tried reinstalling, but the texture bug still persists.

    The NE and SE Late bodyguards use different textures for their attachments in 6.4, so it might (and that's a BIG might) be that another mod might have code that hasn't taken this into account.

    If you open your unit_models folder and open the file battle_models.modeldb using notepad++ for example, then search for 17 ne_late_bodyguard, then you should get an entry that looks like this:-

    If the one you're using looks different to the above, then that's probably what's causing the issue, if so then copying and pasting 'should' fix it. If not then let me know and I'll see what else I can think of.

    Does this happen for armour upgraded versions of the NE Bodyguard also (i.e. the gothic looking ones?), or is it just the standard ones?

    It happens when playing early era with ss6.4, msc 6.0 and all submods on. early era bodyguards have late era stats and messed textures
