Main campaign problem

Hey guys, I just downloaded and installed the mod, which is pretty awesome by the way. Anyhow, the main campaign isn't working for me. Everything else is, though. I have played a handful of custom battles and such. Anyways, when I select a faction and press start in the campaign, it goes back to the main menu. If I press the campaign button again, it crashes to desktop.

I'm sorry if this is a common issue, I have read the first few pages of each guide and whatnot and haven't seen it come up. I may have missed it though. Any help would be really nice.

Its not common at all thankfully, upload your log file found in your main Medieval II directory, ill see what the problem is and tell you how to fix it.

Try:
1.) Re-install Medieval II & Kingdoms
2.) Update Kingdoms to v1.05
3.) Install CoW 1.44

Here is my log file. Do I really have to redownload the games? Thats such a pain. They should be up to date, though, since it is through steam. Or is that version of the game old?

Check your Kingdom's version number, it should be v1.05.

Anyway, your problem should be fixed with a re-install of Medieval II & Kingdoms. (Those who cannot play the campaign usually have a problem within the vanilla Medieval II files.)

Yep, after checking your log its a bad installation of Call of Warhammer. Your Medieval II should be fine, its just standard procedure to tell people "reinstall everything".

I know the easy and best way to install it is kinda hidden, but theres the direct link to it. Its a hastle to reinstall but following the instructions there will have you running just fine, and trust me, its totally worth it

Anyways, I'll download this. Can I run the windows uninstaller and delete the entire Call of Warhammer folder, or do I have to do something more to uninstall it?

Also, be sure to follow the instructions in the "Read me.txt" file to the letter to avoid any installation errors.

Nope just uninstall it and itll be fine. The Russian method of install works, but its much much more complicated and gives massive oportunity for a bad download or a screw up along in install process.

Just uninstall the Russian mod, and follow the instructions from the link I posted, you'll be playing in no time.
