    Default Terrible internet, any solutions?

Currently I am with the ONLY highspeed internet. The type of service is wireless where my receiver gets internet from a sender on a water tower about a mile out. The internet is good, about 300kb/sec when actually downloading something and usually 15 - 30 MS ping wise. For some reason though, my company (Skybeam BTW) can't seem to keep their services very stable. The recent week my internet has been iffy throughout the day with pings like 170 and download speeds pretty bad as well. Things like this have happened ever since I had the service as well. Is there anything I can do to maybe improve my reciever or anything else?

Yep, on D-Day in Iraq, we launched over 500,000 pikemen to capture the flag which Rome was holding. Didn't go so well for us but those Spartans didn't win by much with there muskets.

if thats actual download speed aka the speed of which a file is downloading it IS good internet

my connection at speed test hovers around 15mbps or 15000kbps but download speeds from most sites and steam is around 500kbps to 1200kbps as you can see its a big difference its fatter pipe but if the server you are downloading info from is overtaxed or limited in bandwidth youll never actually see your full speed

so 300kbps for a wireless connection nearly a mile out is actually pretty damn amazing if i read the OP correctly
