Battle in hotseat
I just started my first hotseat campaign with a friend and I've noticed that when AI attacks a human player, the battle is autoresolved without even telling you that the fight took place.
So my question is: Is there a way to play defensive battles in hotseat?

Re: Battle in hotseat
play Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod, it lets you fight defensive battles at the end of each turn.

Re: Battle in hotseat
In the .CFG look for this line autoresolve_battles , if it's true or 1 change it to false or 0.
autoresolve_battles = false

Re: Battle in hotseat
Nevermind I found a thread which explains how to play the defensive battles in hotseat. The problem is that my prevoius campaigns disappeared
Is that normal?
@Desley: Thank you, I'll take a look

Re: Battle in hotseat
I changed autoresolve_battles from 1 to 0 and it worked. Then suddenly the battles were like the number was 1 (it was still 0). So I changed the number to 1 and tried. Still the same. Then I changed it to 0. Still the same. So now I have the same problem of the 1st post

Re: Battle in hotseat
After editing the .CFG did you set it to read only?, if you don't it will keep reverting back to it's default.
