I remember this film well, it is funny and well acted. I even got my French teacher to let us watch in class, she wanted a non-subtitled version but I "tried really hard" and couldn't find a copy without.

So what's your point besides giving a recap of the plot?

Ah I remember this movie! Pretty cute. Jean Reno was great as was his squire(Sorry, forgot his name).
What's interesting is they made a remake in English in the US with the same two leads.(Jean and that other guy.) Best part of that version was when they first come to the future, they're in a parking garage and they mistake a guy in his red Ferrari for a dragon and proceed to beat the hell out of it.(I laughed the hardest when they hit the radio and "Big Butts" started playing and they both stop and give this "WTF?" look at the car.)
