Hey guys, I want to create a water mark to use for images. It worked out well, however, every time i save, it attaches a white background which messes up the effect obviously. Is there any file type that doesnt attach a background?

You can use anyfile type that supports alpha channels (.png, .tiff, .tga) in this case I would suggest using .png however.

Ok for a text you could do as follows:
Open a new document, choose a transparent background. Write whatever text you’d like, save for web choose PNG-24 as file format.
For a picture just choose an image instead of the text. If the picture has a background, remove it easily with the magic wand.
