NTF will crash right when selecting campaign

Right when i select the campaign and it will go to sp and mp and select sp, will go to a black screen and than crash im using win 7 and have ntf 3.5 installed and its a clean NTW. Nothing ever installed on it. Well i checked all files are correct im runing NTF in administrator. So im at a lost, any suggestions?

Windows 7 64 bit

Game works fine with NTF 3.4 but with this new version 3.5 it keeps giving me CTD once i hit the campaign buttons. I am running the mod with Toons All in One Mod. Taking off NTF 3.5 and the game works but once you install 3.5 again it messes up.

having same issue here, win7 64bit. searched and found this thread

confoundingly it was working, now not, cannot think of anything I've changed, would love to know how OP fixed it

Do you start manually Steam first and then start NTF?

I have the exact same problem!
I´v got windows 7 64 bit and I´v got NTF 3.6.1. I get to the game menu and when I click "coalition" the screen turns black. I get a message saying "Napoleon has stopped working..."

Should I give the 3.5 mod a try? Any idea how to fix this?

Please. please, please give me some advice!
