    Default Pontic Campaign

Hey, does anyone have any advice for playing as Pontus in the campaign. Is there like anything i can conquer to make it a lot easier, or a quick way to make some money?

    thanks in advance

Take the coastal cities first and if possible take on Armenia. Only when you are stronger then only take on the Seleucid. Enslave better than kill all once a town is conquered.

Preserve your army. Use advantage of horse archers.

first focus on securing your borders with seleuceia, and then conquer ASAP the Armenians(pretty easy to fall)then start conquest of Asia Minor,it will stabilize your position and you will be established as a superpower then it is your choice go on against seleuceia or board off in Greek lands(i 'd sy the first but try the second is more exciting cause you mess with more factions),also take Chersonesus it gives you great economical boost and the coastal cities of Black Sea!!more tips as you continue...

Yes, before they manage to expand. You'll need stabily before taking on Seleucid. The Pontos province are strategically defensable if you manage the choke poitns like mountains and bridges etc. Unless the Greeks or Thracian decided to inviade by the sea I guess for now it's pretty secured.

Seleucid might ignore for a while as usually they were in war with Ptolemaic. So Armenia is a nice target.

yeah, definetely you should go for armenia, and you should had attacked them already from the start when they were weak, but you still have your chance.also take ptolemaic cities of Asia Minor while they are distracted with the war with seleuceia, after this gather 2 armies one to invade Syria, and the other Media and have the Seleucids fight you in doublr front!do this only if you at least 2 reserve armies one for your western borders and one for your
eastern and make sure that your treasury has sufficient gold!
